Upcoming Casino and iGaming Expos: The Industry's Global Agenda

No entertainment industry relies as heavily on its trade show circuit as gaming does. Major machine distribution deals, partnerships between operators and platform providers, regulatory debates that later translate into national laws, and the first demonstrations of technology that will take two years to reach a casino floor almost always take place at an exhibition venue.

The calendar arrives particularly packed. The consolidation of Latin American markets, the Asian expansion driven by Japan and the Philippines, and European regulatory pressure on advertising and responsible gaming make every trade show more than just a commercial showcase: they are the place where the industry negotiates with itself where it is headed. G2E, the four editions of GAT Expo, CGS Recife, ICE Barcelona, iGB LIVE, SBC Summit, and a significant part of the SiGMA circuit already have official dates locked in; the remaining major events appear with their historical scheduling pending confirmation.

Global Gaming Expo remains the must-attend event. From September 28 to October 1, 2026, Las Vegas will bring together machine manufacturers, land-based casino operators, iGaming platforms, payment processors, and security and compliance providers for four days.

Its significance lies not only in the size of the venue, but in the calendar: what is presented at G2E defines the purchasing roadmap of major groups for the following year. The latest innovations in cabinets, casino floor management systems, networked progressive jackpots, and digital identity solutions premiere there before anywhere else.

The Latin American circuit is experiencing its finest moment, and GAT Expo arrives with the clearest agenda. The organization has already confirmed four events: GAT Expo Puerto Rico, in San Juan, on September 8 and 9, 2026; GAT Expo Bogotá, on October 15, 2026; GAT Expo Dominican Republic, in Santo Domingo, on November 17 and 18, 2026; and GAT Expo Colombia in Cartagena de Indias, which will kick off the 2027 cycle on March 30 and 31 and April 1.

The division of roles remains: Cartagena serves as the major product and technology trade show, Bogotá carries more weight in regulation, compliance, and networking among operators, and the host cities of San Juan and Santo Domingo open the door to the Caribbean market.

Peru Gaming Show, in Lima, maintains its status as the region's leading industry event, although it still has no announced date for 2027 despite historically being held in June. CGS Events, on the other hand, has already confirmed its return to Brazil: CGS Recife will take place on August 24 and 25, 2026, at RioMar Eventos, marking its third conference in the capital of Pernambuco and the organization's 12th event in the country, featuring free access to the Business Hub for operators.

ICE consolidated its move to Barcelona and remains Europe's largest casino, iGaming, and technology trade show. The 2027 edition already has confirmed dates: January 18 to 20, 2027, at Fira Barcelona. Its scale makes it the continental equivalent of G2E, with a growing presence of Asian and Latin American suppliers.

SBC Summit, the European sports betting, iGaming, and affiliate summit, will hold its flagship 2026 edition from September 29 to October 1 in Lisbon, Portugal. The event will span across the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) and the MEO Arena, bringing together operators, platform providers, affiliates, and regulators in Europe's largest digital business gathering.

iGB LIVE, the British event bringing together iGaming operators, affiliates, and suppliers, will hold its 2027 edition on July 7 and 8 at ExCeL London. The gathering has become an essential stop for those seeking to consolidate business relationships in the European online gaming market.

SiGMA has evolved from a Maltese trade show into a global franchise operating with staggered stops across four continents. For the 2026-2027 cycle, it has already confirmed eight locations: Mexico City (September 1-3, 2026), Rome (November 2-5, 2026), Colombo (November 30 to December 2, 2026), Cape Town (February 15-17, 2027), RAK – Dubai (March 15-17, 2027), São Paulo (April 5-8, 2027), Ta' Qali – Malta (May 3-5, 2027), and Manila (June 2027).

Its model combines a trade show, investment summit, and regulatory conferences, which has made it particularly attractive to startups, alternative payment providers, and operators seeking licenses in emerging jurisdictions.

The recommendation for operators and suppliers is simple: book in advance only those events with confirmed dates and keep track of those that still depend on an official announcement.
