The Uruguayan Quinielas Bank renews with Scientific Games for Ra$padita

The Banca de Quinielas de Uruguay and Scientific Games renewed their alliance for the scratch card game Ra$padita through a new four-year agreement. The relationship between both organizations already exceeds two decades, making it one of the longest collaborations in the Latin American lottery market.

In the latest launch, La Banca presented a product that incorporates Micromotion technology, a premium effect that generates the illusion of movement on reflective metallic paper and that seeks to differentiate the instant product from the digital competition.

Ra$paditas are sold throughout the country through a network that includes traditional stores, supermarkets and small businesses, a commercial network that supports the impulse purchasing habit characteristic of instant games.

The Banca de Quinielas, founded in the 1930s, is the official organization responsible for the management and operation of the lottery and games of chance in Uruguay. Its income goes to social programs, charitable causes and public health initiatives.

"We are pleased to continue our successful collaboration with La Banca de Quinielas," said John Schulz, president of Global and Americas Instant Products at Scientific Games.

"Our teams apply global experience in instant games to continually improve Ra$padita's portfolio and generate responsible growth. We hope to offer more entertaining games to Uruguayan players, while contributing to charitable programs throughout the country," he added.

Prior to the renewal of the contract with Scientific Games, the Banca de Quinielas del Uruguay signed a cooperation agreement with the Manantiales Foundation. The agreement was presented within the framework of a strategy aimed at reinforcing awareness and support actions against the risks associated with problematic gambling.

The institution also adheres to the international standards of the World Lottery Association on responsible gaming, guaranteeing safe and transparent practices throughout its network.
